The Continent Mydar
Mydar is the 3rd largest continent and sits furthest to the north completely in the Northern Hemisphere and about 1/2 in both the Eastern and Weatern Hemispheres. It is predominately a cold dry land with the climate warming slightly in the southern plains. There are two mountain ranges that cut the continent into four parts. They are the Caldorean Climes and the Giants Toll. Where they cross is the largest mountain on Andareal, Heavensward. Heaven award can be see from any point on the continent and, on a clear day, as far as out into the ocean from every direction. It's top reaches into the clouds never visible from below. The mountain ranges are covered in vast deciduous forest land which stretches into the valley plains. There are several valleys among the ranges also. The 2nd largest lake in the world, the Depths of Jeren, encompasses a series of ancient extinct volcanoes that had all blown at once creating an enormous crater where, over time, rain and snow melt had created the lake. It is fresh water and warm heating as one delves further in.
