Continent of Dralek

Drakes is the 4th largest (2nd smallest) continent on Andareal. It lies in the South Eastern Hemisphere and is attached to Ostenhart to the north. The land connecting the two continents is known as the Furd Waste and is a vast desert region. It never rains here and there is no life. At the southern edge of the waste is the High Crown mountain range which spans the entire border of Dralek and the waste. It's highest peaks reach approximately a mile into the sky vegetation and animal life grows there and it will occasionally snow. The temperature remains fairly cold year round. South of that is a tropical rain forest that encompasses much of the continent with occasional areas of savannah. There is a large lake (third largest in the world) in the south west region that is fresh water. To the south west of the lake there is the Low Back mountains which are surrounded by deciduous forest. The mountains are not a range but a series of dormant volcanoes the had risen out of the ocean and fused with the main continent the last two still being active.
