Re: Missing Son

Tor-Qau walks into the guild hall and notices two requests available: Ghost on the Lake and Missing Son. He is more interested in the missing son, as he would like to help reunite this family, so he inquires with Master Dan about this request: "Master Dan, I am interested in helping this poor family out. Could you give me more details about this request?"

"Oh you will have to see the requestant about that." On monday i will add everyone who is interested to a group and we will start the adventure

Tiablo just happens to be passing by when Tor-Qau mentions the new requests, and says to no one in-particular, "New requests huh? I guess I could start earning my keep around here.." he walks over to the requests reading them each to himself, as he reads about the cows and the gold reward he looks down at his coin purse, and bounces it a bit, noting it's been especially light lately, he could use the money, but at the same time the one about a missing child piques his interest, he's always had a soft spot for children. He grabs some Ale and sits down at a table in the guild hall, and begins to weight the pros and cons of each.

"My My My." Corellia whistles. "By Sergi's frozen beard a ghost is it. I think that Master Soren might have his hands full. I would be a mite curious about whats causing a spirit to inhabit such a peaceful place."

Jean is sitting near by and having already signed up comments through thick tobac smoke, "Jean goes where de money is de best ." He taps out some ash and smiles wryly. "Money be de ting tha make da whole world go roun me alway sey." Emphasis on whole(he really draws it out).

Tor-Qau takes a seat next to Tiablo and orders a pint and two shot-glasses of whiskey and offers one to Tiablo, telling him, "that poor boy, out there and all alone. He and his family could use all the help they can get. I'm going to take the request about the missing son and was wondering if you wanted to help me rescue him. Whaddaya say?" He asks with an earnest smile and an extended hand.

Tor-Qau also notes under his breath to Tiablo, "you know, the requestor will likely pay a reward for their son."

Tiablo looks over to Jean and nods knowingly, "True that my friend, well if you plan on handling this spectre yourself, I feel like I'd be stepping on your toes if I tagged along, more gold for you right?" then to the Ranger and back down to the depths of his drink. Tiablo finishes off his mug of ale, wipes his face, and stands up with purpose, "That settles it, I'm going to go look for the kid." He walks over to the Request Board and signs his name.

"I knew you were a good man!" Tor-Qau exclaims heartily to Tiablo. "Come! Let me buy you another drink!"

"Well I will be joining you Pan St. Baptiste. If there is going to be a problem with that than I am sure I can think of some ways to settle it." Corellia gazes determinedly at Jean at her strong full 4'6".

Tiablo looks to Tor-Qau with a smile, "A drink sounds good, but I'll have to take you up on it 'after' we find this child. As for now, I'm off to my quarters, we have a job to prepare for..."

Tor-Qau smiles and responds to Tiablo, "well said my friend! However, I am not finished drinking hahaha!!" He laughs a hearty laugh and slams the ale mug on the table. "Another, my good sir!" He yells happily to the bartender, "I intend to drink until I can't stand!"

Taking Tiablos seat (and drink) She winks seductively at Tor-Qau "You ever hear the one about the Arakian and the Kitsune?"

The drink starting to get to him, Tor-Qau starts to get a little red in the cheeks. "N-no, I haven't," he stammers, his drunkenness getting the better of him, "can you tell me?"

+5 for performance Red Rose begins a bawdy tale of a Kitsune who keeps tricking an Arakian maiden into doing things that put her in more and more compromising situations that she is somehow able to get out of by mere innocent luck. which infuriates the Kitsune to a point where finally he fumbles into one of his own schemes and ends up in a prison house awaiting execution. While waiting he receives a visitor, the Arakian maiden. "and right before she leaves she turns around and says "Well that was fun but I really thought you Kitsune where supposed to be cleaver. I mean you spent so much time supposing that you were getting the best of me that you never noticed the noose that I had laid around your own neck. Thanks for the fun." with that she giggled, waved and left. You know what the morale is?"

"Neva trus a pretty garl." Jean says winking at Red Rose. Then turns to Corellia and smirks, "Slong you don't git in de way more dan welcome cheri."

"Hahaha that was a pretty good performance!" Tor-Qau laughs. "It was quite enjoyable! I will buy you an ale for it" and he flips a coin to the bartender and motions for another pint. "You're right in a sense, Jean," he turns to Jean now, "but I don't mind buying a beautiful lady a beer every now and then."

Miss Cedra brings a pint over to Red Rose then bending over the table looks Tor-Qau and Red Rose over before saying "Y'all gonna be no good to no one if you can't keep from stumbling around drunk."

A drunken sigh escapes Tor-Qau's lips. "You're right Miss Cedra... I suppose I can save some for later. I'll just head to bed in a few minutes." He stumbles up and walks slowly towards the latrine to relieve himself

"I swear that boy is going to drink himself off a cliff some day." Miss Cedra goes on as she returns to whatever it was she was doing.

Tor-Qau re-emerges from the latrine, belches loudly, bids everyone goodnight, and stumbles his way towards the dormitory

"If that Kitsune had been about doing good instead involved in such mischief he would have easily avoided the executioners axe. And Jean we will see who is holding who back now won't we."

"Ahh ghosts. Tch tch tch... I think not I will come help find the boy."
